बेटी के बुर्क़ा पहनने पर बोले ए आर रहमान, 'अगर मौका मिले तो मैं भी जरूर पहनता'

नई दिल्ली, जेएनएन। संगीतकार ए आर रहमान ने एक बार फिर अपनी बेटी ख़तीजा के बुर्क़ा पहनने को लेकर सोशल मीडिया पर होने वाली चर्चाओं का जवाब दिया है। ए आर रहमान ने एक इंटरव्यू में कहा है कि अगर उनको मौका दिया जाए तो वह भी बुर्क़ा पहनना पसंद करेंगे। अब उनके जवाब को लेकर लोग अपनी प्रतिक्रियाएं दे रहे हैं।

इससे पहले मशहूर राइटर तसलीमा नसरीन ने ए आर रहमान की बेटी ख़तीजा के बुर्क़ा पहनने के लिए आलोचना की थी और कहा था कि उन्हें यह देखकर घुटन महसूस होती है। इसके बाद तसलीमा के पोस्ट का जवाब देते हुए ख़तीजा ने अपने इंस्टाग्राम पर कार्सन कोल्हॉफ के एक कोट के साथ आग की एक तस्वीर शेयर की है। इसमें लिखा था, ‘मेरी चुप्पी को कमजोरी न समझें- कार्सन कोल्हॉफ, सभी प्यारे लोग जो घुटन महसूस कर रहे हैं। कृपया जायें और कुछ ताज़ी हवा लें।' साथ ही उन्होंने एक नोट लिखकर पर भी तसलीमा नसरीन को जवाब दिया था।

Been only a year and this topic is in the rounds again..there’s so much happening in the country and all people are concerned about is the piece of attire a woman wants to wear. Wow, I’m quite startled. Every time this topic comes the fire in me rages and makes me want to say a lot of things..Over the last one year, I’ve found a different version of myself which I haven’t seen in so many years. Dear Taslima Nasreen, I’m sorry you feel suffocated by my attire. Please get some fresh air, cause I don’t feel suffocated rather I’m proud and empowered for what I stand for. I suggest you google up what true feminism means because it isn’t bashing other women down nor bringing their fathers into the issue 🙂 I also don’t recall sending my photos to you for your perusal 🙂

साथ ही कई बार रहमान फैमिली और बेटी ख़तीजा की ओर से कहा जा चुका है कि वो अपनी चॉइस से बुर्क़ा पहन रही हैं और उनपर कोई दबाव नहीं है। अब ए आर रहमान ने क्विंट को दिए इंटरव्यू में कहा है कि अगर उनको मौका दिया जाए तो वह भी बुर्क़ा पहनना पसंद करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा, 'एक आदमी से ऐसी उम्मीद नहीं की जाती है कि वह बुर्क़ा पहने, वर्ना वह जरूर बुर्क़ा पहनते। इससे कहीं भी किसी भी दुकान पर जाकर शॉपिंग करना आसान हो जाएगा।'

बता दें कि ए आर रहमान की बेटी खलीफा बुर्क़ा पहनती हैं। इस वजह से ए आर रहमान पर कई बार सवाल उठते हैं कि वो अपनी बेटी के साथ ऐसा क्यों कर रहे हैं, लेकिन रहमान फैमिली की ओर से कई बार कहा गया है कि यह उनकी चॉइस है और इसके लिए किसी ने भी उनपर दबाव नहीं बनाया है।
