नई दिल्ली, जेएनएन। टीवी सीरियल 'क्योंकि सास भी कभी बहू थी' को 20 साल हो गए हैं। यह वो शो है, जिसने टीवी स्क्रीन पर सास-बहू ड्राम का कल्चर शुरू किया था। इसी शो से ही केंद्रीय मंत्री स्मृति ईरान की घर-घर में पहचान हुई थी। शो में तुलसी का किरदार निभा चुकीं स्मृति ईरानी ने भी शो के 20 साल पूरे होने पर इंस्टाग्राम पर एक वीडियो शेयर किया है और शो के बारे में कुछ ऐसी बातें बताई हैं, जो शायद बहुत कम लोग जानते होंगे। स्मृति ईरानी ने शो के लिए किए गए पहले शूट के बारे में बताया है।

स्मृति ईरानी ने इस वीडियो में अपने पहले सीन का एक वीडियो शेयर किया है, जिसमें वो सुधा आंटी के साथ दिखाई दे रही हैं। साथ ही उन्होंने इस दौरान की कई बातें भी वीडियो कैप्शन में लिखी हैं।

20 years ago this was possibly one of my first scenes with Sudha Aunty. I raced through my lines ,nervous as hell coz @ektarkapoor was called to the shooting floor by the director who told her the project was a sure shot flop since the girl cast as Tulsi did not have the talent to see it through. Upon enquiring why I was not unleashing my full potential as an actor I told her “ can I play the character as I deem fit instead of being told how to emote?” I promised her I’d take help of every colleague possible if I felt I can’t measure up alone. EK said done and the rest was TV history. Today 2 decades later in absentia I say thank you for the belief @ektarkapoor , thank you @monishasinghkatial for first refusing to cast me & then supporting me all the way. Thank you to the ever changing Mihir from @amarupadhyay_official to dada @ronitboseroy . To kids like @karishmaktanna @ihansika @masumimewawalla @mounirooy & all those I have not been able to name. To bahus ranging from @gpradhan @shilpa_saklani_official & sons @meetsumeet18 @hitentejwani , Sandeep Baswana... & many more relationships I lived on screen who are friends for life. To @mandirabedi & @jaya.bhattacharya who were the best on screen villains possibly and absolute sweethearts off screen. Many more who were a part of the journey .. स्मृति ईरानी के साथ ही एकता कपूर ने भी तीन वीडियो शेयर किए हैं, जिसमें शो की यादों को ताजा किया गया है। एक वीडियो में वो स्मृति ईरानी की तरह घर में घूम रही हैं तो दूसरे वीडियो में स्मृति ईरानी के गेट खोलकर घर वालों से परिचय करवाने वाला वीडियो है। एक वीडियो में 1000 एपिसोड पूरे होने के दौरान का एक वीडियो शेयर किया गया है। इन वीडियो के कैप्शन में एकता कपूर ने शो के बारे में बहुत कुछ बताया है। एकता कपूर ने बताया कि किस तरह उन्होंने शो के लिए एप्रोच किया था।

This was when ‘Kyunki...’ completed 3 years, and hit a 1000 episodes. The show continued to grow and prosper as did our erratic eating hours & crazy schedules. We put in almost 18 hrs a day into it! 20 years to Kyunki... A show that changed my life. Back then it was touted as India’s ‘soft ambassador’, owing to its popularity and reach across the globe. Thank you to the network for giving us a chance at that time. I remember reading about how when the Gujarat earthquake happened, ppl put their TV sets out and watched Kyunki. There hasn’t been a more humbling moment for me. Thank you for all the love that was sent our way. 20 years today to Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi...! I remember sitting nervously in front of Sameer Sir and Tarun pitching ‘Kyunki...’ to them. Telling them ‘saas-bahu’ drama could work...and that we were willing to do it in 1lac. Then Tarun called my mum & said ‘I’m calling to negotiate’... my mum said ‘No no, we can’t do it in under a lac...’ and he responded saying ‘Sameer Nair has said we will give you 1.40lac for it...pls spend on this show!’ 😀 Never has it happened that a channel has negotiated and given more money because they wanted better quality. But that was the conviction and backing the channel gave us. For the 1st time a daily soap was on prime time and went onto make history, as we know it. साथ ही उन्होंने बताया कि इस शो के लिए उन्हें डिमांड से ज्यादा पैसे मिले थे। एकता कपूर के अनुसार, वो यह शो एक लाख रुपये में करने के लिए तैयार थीं, जिसके बाद तरुण ने कहा कि वो इसके लिए नेगोशिएट करना चाहते हैं और उन्होंने नेगोशिएशन में शो के पैसे कम करने के बजाय उन्हें 1 लाख 40 रुपये दिए थे। एकता कपूर ने इस बात के लिए मेकर्स की तारीफ की है। बता दें कि इस शो ने काफी सुर्खियां बटोरीं और यह शो काफी हिट हुआ।
